Why not? It's easier to get VT or emp loot than it is to get into the elemental planes to try and camp the mobs for the rediculous amounts of tempers you'd need to make that PoF bp.

Hey now, just because the stats are somewhere, doesn't automatically mean they'll be updated on this site.

1) They're working on a new database of items, to make it easier to find stuff.

2) If someone didn't post the stats here, it's not our job to go looking for it.

As for the ultimate Cleric BP... I'm waiting to see Ultor's Breastplate of Faith (Elemental Plate Mold BP). All we can be sure of right now is that it'll have 87 AC.

All the clerics I know run out of HPs far more frequently than they run out of mana. As a result, they all want the PoWater BPs and Legs (like everyone else) and well as the PoEarth rings over PoAir ones. I've yet to find a market (within the guild) for Inferno plate.

Stats noticed by Denmother, updated to site, tailoring section close to complete. Stats posted here, stats not noticed by Denmother, no update done, smithing very far from complete.

I can say that the Item from Lucy (First Four) are in the database, because I put them in myself.

The last four from Magelo are not in. I for some very strange reason cannot get Magelo to work. I get a Magelo Security Error whenever I try to access the site. No Reason. No explanation. No help provide to work around. Simply a flat refusal.

Sometimes a directly link to a Magelo database entry doesn't work, and you get the Security Error message. The tailoring links had the same problem, so I transcribed the lot of them to the post. Its possible that's what is going on here. You'll need to log into Magelo in the normal fashion, and then use the ID#s of the items to pull up their information in the database.

This is finally going up on the site, and then I'll get the ones into the DB that Krazick can't see.

What normally happens when folks post links instead of the stats, is that I put off processing the post until I have more time, especially since we need to make sure it's double-entered (site and database). When folks post Magelo links, I generally whimper and ask for someone to transcribe it, since you have to be logged into Magelo to view them.

I broke down and shelled out the money for a Magelo membership over the weekend. :P

It's *still* far easier, especially with the extra work we're doing while the database is in alpha testing, if someone takes the couple extra minutes to type the stats into a post, so it's easier for us to do updates without a lot of extra clicking and flipflopping around various windows. (I'm slacking right now and only have 5 browsers open as well as Dreamweaver on this machine. :O)

Anyway, thanks for the pokes about this. Sorry it took so long, but things are a tad zooey.

I suspect that you're hitting Magelo's anti-munchkin code. I remember reading somewhere that they have a check to prevent automated retrieval of items from their database. If you view too many items in their DB too quickly, that triggers their security measures. Normally, when something like this is implemented, it goes away after a bit. If you're still getting this, you may wish to try contacting Jelan or one of his assistants at the Magelo site and letting them know what's up.

Actually I tried turning off my Nortan Firewall protection... and Magelo Responded properly. There must be something in that configuration that does it.

As for the contacting Jelan or someone at Magelo... they really have to give a totally unconstrainted Page of HOW to contact them if there is a problem. The message I posted from Magelo was ALL that was provided. No e-mail address. No Help Page. No Contact Information. No Forum. Not a DANG thing to help identify or resolve the problem.

Another suggestion was to turn on HTTP 1.1 Proxy Forwarding in my browser. I tried that... still nothing. I probably need to look at the Nortan Firewall configuration for something on that line. But it really stinks in my mind that the Magelo page is so totally UN-HELPFUL about the problem.
