Tae Ew Success Rates?

Like the subject header says - what success rates have people seen when doing Tae Ew Armour (at high/max skill)? I'm specifically trying to find out about the chain armour, but all Tae Ew combines would be of interest (not sure there would be any difference between them in any case).

I have only done chain tunics and shields so far. I am 5 / 6 on tunics and 6 / 9 on shields.

Been selling shields at 20kpp and tunics at 14kpp. Been very easy to sell, sold my first 3 shields the same night I made em.

Only made 2 attempts so far:
At 228+geerlok succeeded on a Tae Ew shield and got a skillup
At 229+geerlok failed on a sword (can't remember which sword, my friend just gave me all the ingredients for each combine as I needed them).

I have been running about 70% success rate. I have done about 200 combines of the shields and LOVE it. Sold over 100 at an average of 10K each. Unfortunately others are jumping on this cash cow on Quellious and the price is now down to around 8.5k each. I sell 3 a day on average with 16 in 1 day my best. I have only done about a dozen tunics and a dozen leggings for guildies and have about the same success rate. I don't compete for sales on these items as most of the smiths on Quellious make these and not shields. I don't know why. I see the same smiths with the same inventory day after day. I put 5 or 6 shields up for sale and they fly outta my trader satchel. I'm just glad the others didn't start making shields 2 months ago when I first started.

My last run of Tae ew was 18 of 19, but I think success is pretty consistently around 80%.

It drops alot from the Iksar crew of Windscorn in Dulaks Harbor.
Second place goes to the Iksar necros in Seb's jail.

Ikky Blud

Ikky Blud can drop of any Ikky's in Dulak. The Boats are just harder to kill on unless you have a good group.

Tae Ew Shield success rates: Pretty **** high. Averaging around 90% to 95% at max mod skill.

Ikky Blood:
Yep Windscorn Boat in Dulak is the place to go alright.
The Windscorn mobs undercon but a 60+ shaman can solo them (though duo with melee is faster!).
Having said that, I have to admit that the 1-minute or 4-minute PoP roots make splitting the spawns easier.

BTW watch out for the cleric mob at the base of the ramp that likes to chain cast high level cleric nukes!
