• Enchanting valorium trivs at ????

Does anyone know when this turns trivial? I would rather not waste my supply of distilled mana until I at least get close to the trivial point..

I searched high and low and cant find it---gave up after 30 mins and posted here

    On the following page:

The enchanted ore row specifies the trivial as 135.

even with a skill of 135 (it did say trivial on success) 270 int, and a geerlok, this failed the first 3 out of 4 attempts *OUCH!*.

...stats do not affect success rate...

Myst, if you use the common success formula (kidnapped from Zerelenn's smithing guide):

          success% = skill - (trivial * 0.75) + 51.5

At skill 135 with trivial also at 135, your success rate would be around 85%. Not a sure thing by any means.

I'm at 155, never failed once yet. 8)

yeah i logged out and back in again just for superstitions sake because i'd just gotten my skill up from 0 before the combine. when i logged back ni i had 8 successes in a row /shrug.

....also interesting to know that stats do not affect success rates.... i'm not a big tradeskill geek, and never knew that. thanks for the info. kinda goofy that someone with half the int (or wis or str, but in my case int : ) has the same chance as me /shrug

thanks for the formula too Hiba. i have 250 in jc, the first jc aa, and the tradeskill trophy. but i really only did all that to get the tradeskill trophy so i'd have that big honkin' 50 charisma in my range slot for charming mobs (the free bag was a nice plus too ) but then i heard about making valorium rings and decided i wanted to be able to do the whole process myself which is the only reason i brought up smithing. anways, i'm kinda of enjoying this tradeskill stuff now and things like that formula are nice to know.

no, i haven't sold anything i've crafted yet but it's still a fun process (at times.. /chuckle) and cool to know that maybe someday people will want to pay a fair price for things i can make. (i never even tried selling any pre PoP jc stuff. on my server that stuff usually sells for around the cost or even less sometimes as what it costs to make it.) /rolls eyes.
