    Heraldic is HUMAN cultural.

    You get CT-Imbued Chain Cultural.

Well there is PoP armors. Though everything except Night Terror armors will be a pain to make unless you are in a big guild that kills in Bastion of Thunder a LOT. (Drops of Pure Rain (from BoT) are needed for Hurricane armor and are a pain to get).
If you can get into a Guild with Elemental planes access you could always try to ninja the components to make some REAL nice armor. But that's not going to happen for most people...

PoP plate is a bish to make as it needs an assload of tempers (like 5.5 for a BP or Legs!). Chain is not so bad.

There are also mistletoe cutting sickles. Depends what your servers market is like. Go see how many are for sale in The Bazaar and at what price.
There is a buttload of clicking involved in making though, but that depends on whether or not you do all the REAL low level subcombines (saves plat (= more profit!) but requires WAY more effort).

Some pieces of Iksar Fearsome Skyiron Armor (the only cultural you can make) are ok. Depends how many Iksar shaman are running around though I guess.....
Bracers and Belts look ok. The rest needs to have more WIS like the other shaman culturals....

Tae Ew gear is a generally a good little money maker.

I think a problem with lots of cultural tradeskilling is that most people have never heard of a lot of it. I've been an ogre shaman for years now, but didn't know about all the cultural things I could make until just recently; I still don't know a thing about what my monk or druid could wear.

So...if you don't know what's out there, you won't know how to search the bazaar for it by name, which is how at least I do almost all my searches for gear.

Good point. I've ran across a huge amount of 60-65 players who don't even know what Heraldic armor is. Warriors who didn't know about Fierce Heraldic.

Being an Iksar smith is tough these days.

#1 main reason is Tae Ew armor, while better than our Fearsome Skyrion armor, it also requires Scale Temper. Iksar blood being a rarity makes smithing Iksar cultural more pricey than other races. Also of note, our cultural armor is not that great when compared to other races, i do believe it is the worst of all. Finally, there are not that many Iksar Shaman around, the only class who can really use the armor to its full potential, and this is because they cannot use the JBB, it is a plate item.

So Iksar smiths are a rarity, mainly because...why would any Iksar want to?

I did because I have a really bad twinking habit, and its far easier for me to craft decent armor for them than to fork over cash to buy them gear.

I think the fact that there are very few Iksar Smiths around is the best reason of all to be one
