Grimling Defenders

Does anyone know how many hps Grimling defenders have.
How hard are they to kill.
Do you think a 53 and 60 druid could kill them with the spell upheaval.

they have ~1k hps, slightly less. 2 uphevals should kill them all. However, they summon, double hit for 50-80, and bash. They are also perma-rooted, so you can't kite them. Catsers usually get ping-ponged around by chain summons from every defender they've agroed, hard to get a spell off like that.

Do you have to leave at least one defender up for the attackers to engage? I have heard varying rumours about this, but I haven't seen any evidence that this is the case.

I have seen the war get bugged not long after someone either killed off all defenders or all attackers. Was it the cause? Dunno.

I always let either 1 defender live, or 1 atttacker live, so they engage correctly, and have successfully swapped the war this way many times.

For Shamen with Spirit Call... Haste yer pet, give it two weapons, sic pet, use Spiritcall... you get ping ponged a bit, but spirit call pets not only attack your target, but whoever hits ya too...

So, with 4-6 wolves whacking for up to 60 dmg, one hasted and dual wielding, they die quickly, which is fun to watch...

Grimling Cheiftain sometimes drop some nice acrylia and Ceremonial Smudging stick... which I still use at 61, but working towards Talisman of Benevolence.
