  • Medium sized plate sectionnal molds...

    Hi all,

I'm a high elf trying to forge my enchanted armor... But I can't find one component !
I have the elven smithy hammer, the leather paddings, the moonlight temper, the enchanted mithril chain jointing and the enchanted folded sheet of mithril.... But i can't find a plate bracer sectional mold as shown in the recipe for the enchanted koada'dal mithril plate bracer. I found small and large plate bracer sectionnal mold but no medium size... Any idea?

    Hi Marada

I find most of my "sectional" molds in PoK (inside the forge house south of the bank if I remember right). Kaleras Darkanvil (-441, 560) Well, and Neriak as well, but I doubt that will help you. If you're still having trouble, shoot me a tell and I'll show you where I grab 'em.

Look for "plate molds" or "(medium) plate molds".

They are sold in many different places.

The "medium" sized molds do not have the "medium" (or any, actually) size designation in their names. Large Molds and Small Molds do, but Medium Molds do not.

ok worse comes to worse goto the bazaar main building, look for the 3 guys standing next to each other, a dorf, human, and barbaian. Those have your 3 sizes. "medium" being on the human, and it does not say "medium"

As you're a high elf, the easiest place to find the molds you need for the armour you wish to make is to go up the stairs in the building that houses the Koada'Dal forge. The vendor upstairs sells the correct size molds.

hmm all the Dark Elf adamantite plate armors require small molds (from memory)

Shouldn't the high elf ones require the same?

And yes medium molds dont have the prefix "Medium"

Another thign that might be tripping you up. Bracers aren't sectional. Therefore they are just plate bracer molds, not plate bracer sectional molds.

Only certain pieces have sectional molds, all of them are multisheet items. Since the mold is used to make a "section" of the armor piece.

Lupoman, I'm going to quote the message I posted earlier in this thread, directly above yours:

The "medium" sized molds do not have the "medium" (or any, actually) size designation in their names. Large Molds and Small Molds do, but Medium Molds do not.
In other words, for small armors you have the "Small Plate Bracer Mold", for large armors you have the "Large Plate Bracer Mold" and for medium armors you have simply "Plate Bracer Mold".

Furthermore, the "Sectional" molds are for Banded Armor and the likes. For Plate armor you will need the "Plate" molds. The only exception here is for the Plate Cloak, which is called "Field Splinted Cloak Mold".
