Lizard-Blood Temper

Is it no-fail? I was thinking about it and I have never lost a tae ew blood on the temper combine. Has anyone ever failed it and at what brewing skill? (Probably jinxing myself by posting this.)

Yes you can fail it, and yeah you prolly just jinxed yourself LOL. I've failed at 169 on one toon, and at 200 on another toon. But it's low enough trivial that I'm hitting that "5%" so I've only failed a few times.

I just camped and turned the computer off for the rest of the day before I hurt myself.

Hi, I was just wondering if the blood was found only in Cazzic, or if it could be found off of any Tae Ew, such as the ones outside the zone in Ferrot, I have searched around, and can't seem to find this one out. Thanks for any help anyone can give me.

Only drops off the lizards in CT.

any tae ew inside CT can drop blood. I've had them drop from the first 2 at the zoneline before so i'm pretty much convince they'll drop off any green lizard inside.

Wow! Maybe getting blood is not that hard them. Are those 2 at entrance very hard? Can they be soloed-duoed at lvl 50?

Dunno, but I am a level 64 cleric and I can't solo them. BUT I can duo them with my 60 pally wife. I use MoRetribution and the damage shield from my gauntlets on her and she whacks them until dead..;-)

The lizards in CT are very hard.

At 60 I would pull one with slow to the zone line, root it and then zone out to split the pair.

I would then zone back in and the fight would last about 8 or 10 mins. They have a lot of HP and a hit very hard.

If you are a 60 shaman with torpor and are used to long torpor / dot fights then I don't think it is much trouble. Just be sure to time you slows so you can reaply before slow drops. They can pound you very hard when turgers drops.

My technique... lvl 61 Shaman with only mini torpor and no malo...

Go in, Malosini one, will last ~25 min... leave, malosini the other, leave, come back, shrink, get on horse, summon pet, give pet two weaps, haste pet, root either lizard with semi-reliable root (Immobilize has been faithful to me), the other will come to you, sic pet on it and slow it Asap.. stack on poison DoTs, Spiritcall if you have it, and cast Stoicism and keep it up most of the time, it will cancel out melee dmg...

I do this fully buffed, and by that I mean using self only melee buff, Rage in my case... 233 STR, 190 STA, 226 AGI, 241 DEX, 2.3k hp, 1023 AC...

They miss alot >=)

Not too hard, and very rewarding when you get blood, my worst run so far is 1 blood in 12 lizards, best being 4 bloods in 6 kills.

Isn't too hard, and I was killing them faster than a Cleric, Warrior, and Shaman next to me, they were lvl average 55 or so.

Lizards are fun... to me getting Distilled Mana is more of a pain in the ass >=)

The average drop rate is about 1:3. Dont really remember the sapwn time on them, guessing about 15mins. At 50 your not gonna be able to solo them, maybe duo with the right classes. Ive done it with my 52 ranger and 54 shaman, wasnt too tough.
