Freeport cultural forge

Where is this thing hiding? I found the regular forge in west freeport on the militia deck. The web page just says on a platform behind the militia in WFP.

It's not behind the militia house; that's a normal forge. The cultural forge is behind the warrior's guild. Look for the arena in WFP; it's hard to miss. The warrior's guild is behind that -- a squarish, brown building. Go through it to the "garden" in the back, and you'll find the forge there.

There are actually 2 forges behind the warrior's guild.

One at ground level next to the door which is a normal forge

The cultural forge is elevated on a platform and is hard to see from ground level.

And as a personal note-if you happen to *ahem* not be liked by Steel Warriors,Mojax Hispin in the Commonlands (out by the lake,near the last inn before Kithicor) can help. He's on Hall of Truth faction,so wipe orcs until you're friendly enough (amiable).

Hand him milk. It'll give you +Steel Warrior,Hall of Truth,and Temple of Marr... -Freeport Militia and Dismal Rage. Just be careful not to make yourself KoS to the Militia. :P

The cultural forge and the normal forge are actually fairly close together, which is a real blessing when you have to make tons of chain jointing.

If you are facing the normal forge by the door of the warrior guild, just turn around and look up on the platform.

Thanks, I found it (WFP: -350,40). I was confused by the "militia" (paladins?) vs the warrior guild. I'm not that familiar with freeport, but trade skills are good for learning areas.

Gah! Don't say that in front of a paladin (or militia fan, either), unless you want to get your head handed to you. =) The militia and the paladins of Freeport are mortal enemies. The Paladins of Marr control North Freeport, and the Militia (which was founded by an outcast from the Temple of Marr) controls East and West Freeport. The warriors are the Steel Warriors, I believe, who generally side with the paladins, but are kinda-sorta on speaking terms with the Militia.
