  • Barbarian BST BD armor.... Higher Trivial than Plate/Chain?

Probably an obscure question given the size of the market... BUT...

I decided to make some Barbarian beastlord armor last night.
At 250 mod skill I got these results:

    Leggings 0/4
    Belt 0/2
    Bracer 1/2

Now that is the worst run EVER I have had of BD armor.
Typically 20 BD's worth of combines get's me 5 to 7 pieces of Barb BD Plate or Chain armor. So I am wondering if the BST stuff is harder to make.

Now given that Barb Beastlords can chose Mithaniel Marr as well as The Tribunal, there is a ridiculously small market for this armor. So I am only really making it "for the hell of it" I guess.

I've had one run of 8 straight failures on an item before a success and 2 runs of 7 straight failures - both at 250 with trophy.

My guess is bad luck with the RNG - but at 227, not exceptionally bad luck.

Yes it's probably bad luck but I am only two or three points from max modified skill.

      227+10% = 249.7

Unless you are saying raw skill > mod skill.

p.s. I tried that trick of putting my GM smith hammer in offhand and a geerlok sculpting tool (dagger graphic) in main hand last night.... Not a single "SoW plz"

Ya, hadn't done the math on the 10%, that does put you just 2-3 points from max effective - long night. Even then, probably just RNG.

Is nice playing with the trophy hammer now and then - non-tradeskillers take a bit to figure out what I'm holding.
