Ethereal Rings from 188?

I was curious.

Why cant people move to Ethereal Rings straight from Finesteel? I mean I know the trival is way off but so are Mistletoe Sickles Trivals that people goto from 188 - 250 on?

Why cant I use Ethereal Rings to get to 220?

because you need an effective skill of 220 (with mods) to even attempt them (it wont let you attempt them)

So with a
5% mod you can do them at 210
10% mod you can do them at 200
15% mod you can do them at 192

We did XTC last night and he dropped two of those 15% hammers, I could have skilled up so much faster if I would have known about this. Ah well, maybe he will drop them again.

oh and dont forget they trivial at 212 (yes i know they trivial before you can do them). This was done because it was found to be "Too easy" to skill up to 250 on them (when you only needed a 200 effective skill to attempt them)

How hard are ethereal bricks to get? Are they rare or pricey?

They drop in most 2nd tier or above zones in pop (pretty common and stackable)

Or they are 84 plat and some change each on vendors (too bad they only sell back for 7.5ish)

ethereal bricks are usually only 10-15 pp in the bazaar. Some people sell them so check there before vendor mining to save a little cash
