What drops Flame Agates ?

I'm hunting down flame agates for fiery forged weapons and have found a few on traders, but these are obviously re-sells. What mobs drops these gems ?

I'd like to try and make a few of these weapons for sale but 40pp+ worth of flame agates for the tempers for each weapon isn't helping my bank account

I think I've gotten these in Mistmoore and other zones around that level...

I've gotten several off goblins in Sol A (same place fiery ore drops).

The vendor near the LS rings often has several for sale for this reason.

They seem to drop well off Evil Eyes in Beholders (and in EK but they are a rare spawn there).

Been a while since I've been there but don't flame agates drop from the evil eyes in the gorge too?

Just trying to remember where the two names come from.... I'm pretty sure my guild started calling it Beholders because that's the name you get when you /who someone there

Actually in Origional EQ that was the name. It was later changed to Gorge of King Xorbb. I dont recall when but that what happened.

I've pulled the semi-uncommon flame agate off of what i recall to be house mobs in Unrest. OC, didn't know i was going to be trying to find firey weapon trivials, so i sold them all, WAH.

If you can, offer some small money to unsuspecting noobs in UR. you'll get a couple, and they'll never know. ^_^ (yes, i was one of the noobs.)

Ivory also was found in UR, as i recall.........

Flame agates drop off any mob type that drops the gem series that includes amber, jade, pearl, ivory, topaz etc. But they are most common off goblins in Sol A in my experience.
