I would pay 450 at the very most.

At 450pp it saves me the hassle of collecting the BD's, which don't seem to be as common as some of the other servers, but I have noticed at least 2 players auctioning in the Bazaar "Buying all BD's for 500pp each". So that might explain why they seem so rare on vendors and such on Tarrew marr. Not only the hassle, but saving me the pain of doing 2 of the 3 combines, all of which could fail...

Making a 150 extra per temper is pretty good, as long as you are not failing more than 1 in 5 attempts, at making the powder -> temper.

I think I'm playing on the wrong server. The cheapest I've ever seen a BD was 500p, and that was after haggling. It's commonly found for about 750 in the bazaar though on occasion you can find them for 600. People like to hike them up to 1000 when no one else is selling. The most I've ever had was 15 at a time, and that's mostly because I farmed them myself. I'd kill to see BDs sold for 300.

If you are very patient you can get them for 500pp on Vazaelle.
They usually go for about 700pp. I have only seen BD's on a vendor once. He had 2 of em and I stood up and did a little dance I was so happy! :mrgreen:

About once every 3 days (more often after a patch), I scour PoK and PoT merchants, looking for goodies.

It just seems weird having stacks of blue diamonds in inventory.

I think I was up to four and a half at one point. Now I just have 2 stacks of celestial tempers (one on each smith), with a stack of BD dust and half a stack of BDs on Zopharr, the brewer. <grin>

With all the Tae Ew Shields you've sold, you'll be there pretty quick I'd wager. <grin>

Blue Diamonds come from alot of new places.

I get mine while XPing in BoT, BD's are uncommon there. In a 3 hour session of xp I can walk away with 3.

Next, goto PoN. The Nightstalker camp is frequently camped by Quad Kiters.

I can buy BD's off them in zone for 250pp because its cash in hand. They dont have to mess around in bazaar or deal with Cha/Faction issues. Just ask in ooc who has the camp and send them a tell. You can also buy raw diamonds this way as well.

Also check the Vendor in Grimling forest. I have bought 6 Blue Diamonds off the vendors here. This is because the Vampire Hunters from TM come here to sell.

Vendors near the PoK port in also have BD's quite frequently. When i farm PoG and get a TL out i run to the nearest vendor and find lots of Ruby Crowns, Sapphire Necklaces, Blue Diamonds and alot of the other stuff I have been farming. This depends on how heavily farmed on your server PoG is, on the Nameless its frequently farmed so there are ample BD vendor opportunities if you know where to look.

I have a regular supplier who sells blue diamonds by the stack for 6k.

Normally in the bazaar, I will offer anyone who has a big stack, or is actively auctioning, 275pp per BD. I figure I can get as many as I need for 300 per, so I'll only go outside my regular guy if the price is better.

I occasionally see BD on merchants, but I wouldn't call them common.

Raw diamonds, on the other hand, seem to be on every merchant in the game.
