Peeved Iksar

Playing an agnostic Barb warrior when the new cultural armors came out and seeing that they are deity specific annoyed me. Great armor that I cannot use. Then I made an Iksar SK, gave some hand-me-downs from the warrior and never thought about tradeskills.

Then out of boredom, I decided to start the SK on tradeskills. I remembered drooling over the Barb armor and decided to take a look into Iksar armor.... Disgusting, to say the least. My hand-me-downs are better in pretty much every way. May try to smith a set for backup gear someday, if I have nothing better to do, but there's not a single piece I would wear regularly.

Yes, once upon a time Iksar weren't supposed to be able to wear plate, but that restriction seems to have been lifted with Velious and later releases, I guess because the devs were too lazy to put in an entirely different set of armors for Iksar, after adding the Greenmist armor to Fear, and I'm not sure if there's Iksar warrior only planar armor.

Only decent thing about the Fearsome Skyiron is that it doesn't seem to be too tough to make. And then the Monks and Beastlords get screwed with no cultural tailoring. Oh well.
