This is most likely a dumb question but can you do Cultural smithing with an illusion? I ask because with the new illusion potions I was hoping it was possible to smith elsewhere.

It has been tried before and found not to work. I doubt its been tested recently, but then I also suspect it hasn't changed either. And for your information it does state this in the FAQ at the top of the forum.
