Sorry, normally don't post out of sheer joy, but...
Waiting at the 'blob's spawn point in Vex Thall last night, needed to kill him to get the warders down.
We give him 15 more minutes before he spawns. At 8 minutes left he finally does. We bag him and he has 2 drops.
One of which is the nice floating rune, but the OTHER one catches my eye!
WOOOT! Gauntlets of Dark Embers! The Blacksmithing holy grail! (as it were). I am sure that I will eventually get 250 smithing, but it's nice to have an increased chance to make anything on my way there..;-)
Thanks to Novus Invictus (my guild) for the prize, time to do some more smithing! (just wish I hadn't failed 2 CT tunic the night before..hehe).

Drops off: the Blob (also knows as: Kaas Thox Xi Ans Dyek - now you understand why everything in VT is known by either an abbreviation or a nickname)
We have mostly moved out of Ssra Temple, so I thought that I would never see a +15 mod item (the other is off the Creator). I brought this up to a guild officer and he told me about the above drop. It gave me hope to someday see one..;-) And not only is it great for smithing, they are just great in general for everything. Even hunting for raw materials..hehe.
