Dwarf blood drop locations and drop rate ?

Hey there,

ive committed myself to helping a friend get his ogah smith to 250 smithing - and silly me said i would help him get dwarf blood. Trouble is, i cant find any.

Ive tried:

- Dwarf slaves in Crushbone,
- Dwarfs on sister island in OOT,
- The single dwarf spawn near chessboard in BBM.

No luck so far.

Can anyone suggest a better place, faction is not an issue for me. Im on "i kill whatever is in my way!" faction.

So guys, where to look and whats the drop rate ?

Dalnir is an awesome place for dwarf blood...coerced dwarf spawn randomly everywhere on first and most of second floor

Do the 3 or so spawn dwarf camps, like the one near the goblin camps (den and friends or whatever)

I was doing this with my sk and cleric grouped and piling up the dwarf blood. You also find it on vendors around there.

That camp used to be coveted but is nearly always empty now. Its a higher rate of spawns than the single chessboard one. Some of the dwarf lady (kaladim citizen) spawns are slower, like 12 minutes, while some are about six minutes or less. If you can't do it alone get some other like minded person who doesn't want the blood and split the axes/money (you can sell their stuff at the beta neutral druid vendor lady at the ring)

I've never had any problems finding dwarf blood, I get all mine from vendors. Elven blood is the slow one for me.

I could use about 100 or so.

I can't remember exactly. Since they are not in short supply for me I don't really note where I buy them from. My normal vendor mining areas are Oggok, Feerott and Neriak, so I would guess in those areas (except there aren't many dwarves around those areas), but I vendor mine whenever I can. It maybe that I took my elf into Kelethin and picked them up there.

Another post indicates that the elven blood drops are more common with LoY, so it might be that dwarf blood will be the limitting factor now. If so, I'll keep a record of where I find it.

I see a lot of dwarf blood on vendors in Kaladim and just outside it in Butcherblock (the vendors at the docks or near GFay might be a good place to check too). Basically, you want to check on merchants near where the item drops because that's where people will most likely sell the item if they don't need it or want to bother selling it to other players.

I looted 8 dwarven blood's the other night on my 5 hour hunt for Iksar blood in Dalnir's. If I were to need dwarven blood, Dalnir's is where I would go.

Aren't they all quadding dwarves until 49 anyway?

Gulf of Gunthak. Outside the fort there are all the pirates of different races. This is kind of the end all place to get blood. I've had erudian, human, elf, and troll (?) blood drop for me. And with quite decent frequency. I have not seen dwarf blood, but then again I did not spend a lot of time there.

I have spent DAYS in Gunthak, and Dulak, and you WILL NOT find the following in those two zones:


Elves (High, Wood, or Half)
Dwarf
Vah Shir
Iksar are in Dulak only, not Gunthak.
Froglok

Sorry, I should have clarified. Those are RACES you will not find.

Notice Dark Elves are noticeably absent from my list? There are many, and they drop their blood and parts.

I vendor mine the Faydwer continent a LOT. I very frequently find dwarf blood on vendors in Kaladim, Butcherblock, and GFay. I don't personally know any Ogre smiths, or I'd buy them for them. *shrug*
