Praesertum Bikun Info

Been trying to find some info on Praesertum Bikun and have been coming up short.....found that he iz a 66 Rog and thats about it ... would like some info from the peepz who have taken him out before.....If you know his HP any tricks on fighting him....How many people you might need? anything would be great thanks....

Im kinda lost here, does this have anything to do with smithing? Not playing the "only post here if it deals with smithing" card. Just wondering what this guy has to do with it, if anything. What zone is he in and have you checked out any other sites that may include any info?

Guy I know whacked him a few weeks back.
Next time I see him up on my server, he's mince meat!!!! (if I can drag 18 guildies away from phat exp groups...)

He is unslowable. Hits for 500's. Banishes people he hits to the "Jail" (dont ask me where that is - go attack him and find out) quite frequently.
No idea how many HP's.

Now for the "Banishes peeps" part. There are 2 ways to deal with this.
1) Have Mages grouped with the Tanks.
2) Have non-KoS melee BIND in his room. Then have a wizzie standing in a Jail who TL's them back to the fight.

I've always heard he was 3 group doable - probably means 60+ chars with decent gear/AA's and of course mages and or wizards.

Guy said he was a real pain coz he banishes people ALOT. Maybe stick a few tanks in a group with 2 mages. /Shrug.

Belt is large race only.

Bikun drops a Large race only nodrop belt with +10% smithing mod!!!! $$

Nps... Just take along as many peeps as you can get.

Belt would totally rock. Would mean:
1) You can skill up from 200 to 212 on Etheral bricks and
2) You'd be at max effective skill at 229!!

Get one CoD enchanter, one pet class of any other kind, one cleric and you have a dead Bikun. Banish does not work on pets so the charmed pet tanks until it breaks and then the summoned pet(or a 2nd charmed pet) tanks while the ench recharms the pet that broke. I've done this personally with just me and an enchanter but it was brutal. We farm the Praes for their shards for the Veracity earring if you're wondering.

At 205 skill I got Tundra Helanic Bracers x 1 from 10 attempts.
Then at 207 skill I got another Bracer and a Visor from 15 attempts.

Then at 216 skill 2 days ago I got lucky and from 28 infused rings I made:
Tundra Helanic Boots, Belt, Shoulders, Arms, Helm AND
Artificers Sleeves and Bracer.

However I am going to wait til I am much closer to the magic skill 240 (+geerlok = max effective skill) before I make anymore.
Given that at max skill you have 40%-ish percent success chance (reported).

Which mobs around there in particular are good to charm?
I have a few 65 Enchanter friends in my guilds.

Uhhh can I get your email gorgin have some questions for you.....or your servername and Main character name.

Gorgin is my main character, I'm on Tunare. We normally charm a blue mob in the port up area(hand being the hardest one to find a blue mob in, but since we're talking about Shoulder(I think that's Bikun's area) then go with a Custos Armorus, make sure it's not wearing a robe).

Wahoo Dead Bikun $$$

Keeled him yesterday with 2x65 enchanters, 2x65 clerics, 58 Mage, 63(?) Beastlord, 3 Shamans (65,62,55), 65 Ranger.

Was definitely fun! Mage got summoned and eaten at one stage, one enchanter got banished but his pet kept on kicking ass.

Nice to have that belt, makes my raw 218 skill about 240.

Would have rocked to have got it at skill 200 and used etheral bricks to skill fast to 212 but oh well

Where the heck are people getting like 40 stacks of ethereal bricks? I get some here and there in PoV caves, but...40 stacks? I guess 83pp each off NPC vendors is cheaper than sickles.
