Ore drops in LoY mines?

Since one of the zones in the new Ykesha expansion is a mine, I would assume that there are ore drops. I was told that an item called "dark ore" drops here. Is that accurate? Has anyone seen any other ores drop? FI so, what were they called. I have some of this dark ore, and will try to see if anything can be made with it.

Would be interesting to see what happens, I am thinking of heading over there this weekend, to check out the ore. As I must of missed, any news on this website about it. Or nobody has posted anything at all.

After spending about 4 hours in the Crypt of Nadox, I got one brick of "Dark Ore" off a Blackhand Guard. MAGIC, unstackable. I don't recall the weight.

They are 15 stone each. :P

I have 5 or 6 Dark Ore now from Nadox. I plan on handing them over to a real smith to see if they can be turned into anything useful.

I didn't check the vendor price on them, but thats a really heavy vendor fodder if it's not for weapons/armor smithing.

I think we had some dark ore dropping off elementals and golems in the Hole last night as well.

ive tried everything i can think of with dark ore and its dnc

i tried
Dark Ore + smithing chissel (DNC)
Dark Ore + water (DNC)
Dark Ore + Smithy Hammer + water (DNC)
2x Dark Ore + Smithy Hammer (DNC)
2x Dark Ore + Smithy Hammer + water (DNC)
Dark ore + file + water (DNC)

What im most shocked is that the chissel didn't work
I know i would need a temper for the others but since i didn't see anything that resembled a temper component i tried water. But Ore + chissel ALWAYS works with just the ore and the chissel to produce peices without a temper

Oh and dark ore is identical in stats to the Small Bricks of Ore that are vendor purchasable (save the name)

Firey Ore, Deathsteel Ore, Black Acrylia, and Yttrium cannot be chisled down either. What else do these have in common? Well, they all require a temper, and all are used in weaponsmithing. While most are stackable, firey ore is not, so that doesn't rule Dark Ore out as a likely possibility either. (Bricks of Ethereal Energy cannot be chisled down, but are smithed, with a temper, for use in a quest combine to make armor.)

That was, most likely Brick of Black Ore -- looks like a brick of ore - clay color type
or Block of Black Ore -- Looks like a book - 'An Old Delivered Book' type.
