Then players proved it by attempting to stack 2 brewing devices, which should have raise the effective level high enough to attempt, but still got the "inexperienced" message.

No, to my knowledge no one actually did this. I proposed it, but everyone seemed willing to take a developers word on wether something actually worked. Stupid me, how dare I question the unblemished record of programmers, or devs who dont write code, or code that isnt even tested.

Magelo collects all the information. The current display engine doesn't know how to show skill mods and a few other things too. Magelo 2, which looks to be coming soon finally will have a new display engine that fixes them.

The gloves definitely do have 15% skill mod on them, I'm wearing them currently =)

If you can stand the ads, please check the old giant thread. Towards the end, someone DID infact do this, and he still got the error message.
