Summary of +smithing items

I don't know that there is already a concise listing of +smithing items, so I thought I'd get one together and see if there isn't more to add:

Hammer of the Ironfrost +15%
Gauntlets of Dark Embers +15% VT drop
Massive Girdle of the Forge 10%, race limitted
Geerlock Automated Hammer 5%
Grandmaster's Smithing Hammer 5%

Isnt there a "Creators Hammer" or some such, that also adds 15% ?

Does anyone know if these items are stackable for then percentage increase? :roll:

Skill Modifiers DO NOT stack.


Confirmed by SOE at the last fan faire, then seperately by players.

Items with +x% do not stack. The devs said this at one of the fan faires. Then players proved it by attempting to stack 2 brewing devices, which should have raise the effective level high enough to attempt, but still got the "inexperienced" message.

Oh well.

Not that I've searched for it or am a long time reader on these boards.., but I haven't seen any discussion on that.. It could actually be checked I would think with PoP skill level restrictions on recipes..

Ya.. actually I'd posted here first then posted in fishing and noticed I don't have the option to delete here.

is the GM hammer bugged? Do da +5% from the GM hammer override Gamgan +15% from creatorhammer?

Before made GM hammer was able to make 3-5 outa 10 tries a troll weapon


Made GM hammer first try, put it on range

Then failed the next 16 combines on troll stuff in a row ( Same stuff as before)


Failed 11 sickles in a row

Took off GM hammer, tossed it in bank

Made 6 outa 12 tries of sickles immedialty, and later that night made 4 outa 10 tries on troll weapons

Gam wonder if Hammer made gam lose +10% worth of skill ( about 22 points) or gam was Just jinxed?

15% skill mod is on there even tho magelo doesn't show them currently.

According to Allakhazam's, those gloves "only" have 5% skill mod on them.

Edit: hmm, never mind, seems they've had the stats changed too since Alla's picture. Skill mod was probably changed then too.
