  • Acrylia Ore... I know you can make large bricks from small..

I know you can make small bricks from pieces, large bricks from small bricks and blocks from large bricks. But, can you turn blocks into large bricks, large bricks into small bricks?

  • #2
    re

    yes you can.

1 Block + chisel (in forge) = 1 large brick

1 large brick + chisel (in forge) = 1 small brick

1 small brick + chisel (in forge) = 2 small pieces

bricks aren't stackable, and you can hold only one of a given type of item on your pointer at once.

So while you can break a small brick into two (stackable) pieces, there would be no way to hold two or more large bricks on your pointer after breaking down a block, or two small bricks after breaking down a large brick. Just try foraging something non-stackable, and not putting it in your bag. You can forage the tiem several time, but when you try to put them in a bag, you'll have only one of the item.

Not saying that you "get" multiples of an item when you break down a large brick or block - just that if Sony decided to change it, they would have to either make bricks stackable or else change some other code.

They wouldnt' have to change anything zophar. If you look closely at what happens when you break down a large brick you DO stack 2 nonstackable items onyour pointer.

There *is* a way to hold more than one item on your pointer in the code when you do a combine. When you break a large brick to small, you get the small brick + chisel back on the pointer. click 2 x and u put them both down.

The only reason you dont get back what you put in is that's how they tried to make it realistic. Working with metal you lose some .

No argument that you can put more than one item (stackable or non) on your cursor. The point being made the code atm doest allow you to have more than one of the SAME item on your cursor at the one time.

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding, but I know that currently when making various metal rings from large bricks of metal, you receive 2 rings on your cursor when you succeed. I also know that when you crush PoP stones, such as midnight stones or sandstorm pearls, you receive 4 crushed stones from the three stones you crush. This leads me to believe that you can in fact have more than one of the same item on your cursor at one time. Pehraps you're meaning to say that it won't let you have more than one non-stackable item of the same kind on your cursor at one time?

OK, to clarify further since people are confused. There is no way to put more than 1 of the same unstackable item on your cursor at once. You can put more than 1 unstackable item on the cursor as long as they are different and you can put more than 1 of the same stackable item on the cursor, but not more than 1 of the same unstackable item as far as people can tell.

                  Im lost too.

When I summon Shurikans with my bracer, I have one 'No-Rent' Bag and 3 stacks of 20 Shurikans on my cursor at the same time. But to confuse the matter, I found that I was unable to stack 2 incomplete stacks of shurikans together. Maybe the summoned Shurikans have different item Ids.

Ill bet you anything that to give you 3 staks of 20 they had to make 3 different item id's. And to back this theory up head over to magelo and try to put shirkens in your ammo slot, searching for shurk shows 3 Summond: Shuriken of Quelious

The real proof comes from this

                      Group with another smith.
Have them break a block of any ore down to a large brick
Watch the message YOU get saying what they just made
Ask them how many they got

What you fill find is, the message YOU get says they made 2 large bricks. What they GOT is one large brick. The saecond one poofs to bad coding.
