Black Acrylia confusion

Hi, I am in PoK, trying to make a black acrylia dagger.

I put in a forge:

dagger blade mold
hilt mold
sheet of black acrylia
black acrylia temper
water

when I hit combine it says that it cannot be combined in this container.

What am I missing? Do I need a hammer? The weapons page says I do not need the pommel mold so I have not added it. The only thing I can think of is that I have to use a specific forge. Is this the case?

Any help would be so much appreciated.

You don't need water. The temper is the liquid.

Don't think you can do it in PoK. You need a regular forge, not a planar forge. And no water.

I have made a Black Acrylia Longsword using one of the PoK forges. I believe they work for 'normal' recipes in addition to the planar ones. But you do have to ditch the water…

Thank you for all your replies. I got rid of the water, and I am now a proud owner of a black acrylia dagger. My 36 rogue will love it.

Ah good they changed the forges then....tried it before and it didn't combine in PoK.

/snicker the BA weapons have a required level of 45....

And the phrase for the day is? "Lose the water"

But yes, PoK forges do accept regular recipies as well as planar.

It's a recommended level, not required, so 36 can use it, just with reduced effectiveness. And at 36, if the reduction is equal across the board, it shouldn't be a big loss. BA weapons should still be near the best a non-super twink can get a hold of. I'll try getting my BA halberd to my 36 warrior and report on what his stats are with it.
