what is the combine for the earth temper, is it a "vial of liquid earth" or "liquified earth" or? and what mob is it that drops what is needed for the temper

you mean earthen temper? if so it's 2 drops of mercury + 1 lava rock + 1 dwarven ale

Not sure which one you mean since there is no 'Earth Temper'

There is a 'liquid stone temper' and a 'earthweave curing agent'.

If you mean Earthen temper the above post is correct.

the name of the item is
Liquidfied earth (not a vial)

and it drops as a rare drop from the Mudmen in PoEa
