  • Starting Dwarven Cultural

Now that I've hit 188, I'm gearing up for my low end cultural smithing--finding suppliers, making tempers, etc...

I'm just not sure what to make. The profit and trivial of Greaves and BP are highest, and I suspect they will compete well w/ the Acrylia Plate on the market.

However, I might save myself some trouble by making more of the one and two sheet items--IF they sell...

    So a few questions:

    1. Which slots sell best?
    2. I am going to start by making enchanted dwarven plate--assuming this is the right course until I get within reach of imbued enchanted triv's?
    3. Is vendor sell back at all viable, or should I just stock all successes on a mule or two and sell over time?
    4. With 230-ish WIS and a geerlok (and 188 skill) any guesses on what I might see for successes on the 3 sheet items (208 triv on Greaves and 215 BP)

    Thank you for your guidance!

At 190 skill I was making two sheet items about 80% of the time but special order only. As for sales rates on one sheet items, I've found the boots sell really well, the bracers reasonably well, the gorgets sit in your merchants inventory and the masks went trivial on me really quickly so I only ever sold about four of them.

Basically it all sells depending on how you price it. Enchanting brellium's a pain, but if there's lots of people selling lava rocks / drops of mercury in your server's bazaar it's worth it. I stuck with one sheet items just because it takes long enough to enchant enough metal for twenty combines of one sheet items, without going higher.

      Best Single piece sellers- Bracers
Best Double piece sellers- Shoulders or gloves.
Best Triple Piece sellers- Chest then Legs, depending on how many are on your server.

Cultural is a pain to level up on, It takes about 5 hours of enchanting to attempt 20 combines of breastplates. It is however the best path for skillups till about 205 to 210 or so. Shadowscream trivs are a bit higher, thus reduced chances of skillups.

Boots are also good sellers for me, they have great stats for warriors.

I sell bracers like hotcakes...pricing at 150pp (I do take a small loss, but it's worth it for skill ups).

In my experience though, you can sell ANYTHING given enough time and the right price. I usually set a price based on what it cost me to make, i.e. 50pp per sheet and 100pp for a temper (plus 50-300pp depending on the item). If it sits there for a week or so, I'll start knocking off 10pp here and there, eventually it all sells. The only pieces that I have a hard time selling are straight imbued, i.e. non-enchanted. Those things are impossible to sell at any price.
