I'm still looking for a use for these nifty new shears that a lot of people are talking about. They don't appear to part of the tailoring skill which is where I would think they would be of use.

it is my understanding that they are used to cut the ribbons that are now part of LOY tailoring, to make racial robes. -
Shears
Used with the ribbons bought in the gunthak lighthouse and cultural dyes to tailor dyed ribbons. These combine with spell based materials to make cultural caster robes. See also cabilisian needle for example.Comment

Yes, shears are for the new cultural tailoring robes. Most need both types. hickory AND elm.
