Hi all,
So I rolled an SK and after fighting and leveling all the way to level 28 I've decided I'm going to do a little smithing...can't say how far I'll go put at least until I get sick of it
So I am following the beginners guide in EQ Traders and went to Beholders Maze to farm some small bricks of ore. Well... it was a little inconvenient being that I had to run across 4 or 5 zones, South Karana being a pretty decent size one too. But while poking around on EQ Traders I noticed that one of the recipes to make small pieces of ore is using a tarnished weapon( made from any rusty weapon and sharpening stone) and water flask. My thinking is that it might be alot easier to just farm the rusty weapon and turn it into a tarnished weapon and then make the small pieces of ore. Now my question is what you would think is the bestzone to farm the rusty weapons?
I just came out to the west Freeport newbie area to kill skellies but the drop rate doesn't seem to be too good.
Any thoughts from someone who has tried what I'm thinking of doing would be greatly appreciated.
