    silly question

    OK, coming here since I have heard both yes and no to answer my question and I'm just looking to see how much i need to farm here....

    Q: in shadowscream armor, does the humming orb get used up in the combine or is it reusable? Do I need stacks of them or just a few for a run on this?

    While not speaking from experience since I gave up after accidently loosing my hammer and anvil three times before doing a final combine to my understanding is:

    Yes, orbs get eaten during combine

    No they do not stack

    The humming orbs are consumed in the combine.

    And they are not stackable, adding to the fun.

    One positive though: if the effect (a DS if I recall correctly) is useful to you, I am told you can use the charges and then still smith Shadowscream with the charge-less orb.

      that part is true, you can still use them without the damage shield charge, however carrying around a backpack or 2 of non stacking 2.5 weight orbs becomes an issue for some people hehe
