iksar blood - best place, least annoyance

iksar blood in dalnir

I was camping 1.floor in dalnir for about 2 to 3 hours and got 2 iksar blood, the droprate 1/20-25 seems to be right.
Have about 5 newbiez looking for blood in fob for me, but no luck there yet, seems to be extremely rare in fob.
Havent check iksar lord in ww yet or necro in sebilis.

I've got a fairly evil question, 'How often does Iksar blood drop in Cab?' I know the newbie guards are rough, but two whole zones full of leezards... some of which are pretty low level... I'm guessing this has been tried by somebody.

Is the game that cruel?
Not saying this is a good idea btw, just curious.

I killed one of the merchants inside and he just poofed when he died, I would imagine the guards might give up some blood, but they are mean.

After seeing iksar blood for sale at 5000pp in the bazaar, I went to Dalnir. Yes, it's a very rare drop off the iksar sk/necro only - got one blood in about 2 hours of clearing the first floor. Also tried the outcast iksar camps in the Emerald Jungle, since no one had mentioned them before - but no luck there.

I'm not familiar with Iksar camps in EJ, do you perhaps the ones in TT? If not, has anyone tried the TT iksars?

I've tried the TT necros -- 3 hours, no blood. Glad to hear a confirmation on Dalnir's, though ... I was keeping that pretty cleared, but never saw any blood (and rare enough iksars ... they seem to have a gnome fetish down there.)

I think they can only drop from the "True" iksar models (ie the player models)

from what i hear only the real iksar models in dalnir drop em (not the merchant models with the blue pants or the bandit models)

I have killed the Iksar Slaves in Nurga many times and I have never seen them drop Iksar blood.

Glatius2, I did mean Emerald Jungle. There are 3 camps and they are marked on the EQ Atlas map. I only killed about 20 of them, probably should have stayed longer to get a bigger sample size. If you try there, I would only do 2 of the camps, the one near the plateau wall and the one north of the lake. The other one in the middle of the zone is a high traffic area, so a lot of annoying adds.

The problem with iksar blood is noone knows to save it. I am not swimming in iksar blood, but i always have more scale tempers/iksar blood than tae ew blood. I saved iksar blood from the time CT recipes went live, so I planned aheada litle hehe. Anyways, Tae ew shields have made me quite a bit of pp and gotten some nice trades. Blood isn;t that rare, just streaky. Be glad it isn;t common as dirt or these shields would be dirt cheap, which noone wants. Be a shame to see these nice shields for sub 10k with 30+ for sale in bazaar.
