iksar blood - best place, least annoyance

Since the brewing section said iksar necros seem to have best drop rate, I am in Sebilis at the jail.

They are a pain. This place is a pain...just to get ONE blood.

Is iksar blood rare?
I have killed 6 so far and no blood.

No one is selling any. I checked all visible stock on merchants in the bazaar.

I could swear I got a blood or two off some of the iksar in FOB when I was levelling my shammy there. Was a long time ago, but for someone who an exp in seb, they would be fast kills.

After killing every bandit in the cave to the left going on the beach with no drops (no many in there too), I went to Sebilis.

I never expected it to be so seemingly rare.

Try the Iksar Bandit Lord in Warsilks. Yes, he skips spawns - but when he does, I had about a one in three drop rate on blood.

Good place to level an alt.

I found myself in Dalnir eventually.

I finally got one from a coerced necro / sk.
He had no pet but was casting those type of spells and had no weapon.

After 4 hours, I failed the shield with the only blood I had.

Could be just luck but i cleared every coerced iksar (which was probably all of 15 P )in dalnir with zero blood. I didn't clear them a second time.

1/8-12 seem to be the rate in seb.
1/20-25 seems to be the rate in Dalnir

Nah, I just think me and Rendaels server is messed up. I spent 5 hours there with my mage and only got 1 blood as well. Also learned that the coercerd and nibblers/goos like to fight each other alot. I had better luck killin the iksar in the OT outpost

This has been a pain in the rear to Iksar ever since cultural armor showed up.

Iksar blood is near impossible compared to other types to get.

This is going to border on a rant, but here goes.

They shouldnt have used Scale Temper for the CT smithing. It was to much of a bottleneck before, now its even worse. I was running through the bazaar and seen someone offering 2k per Scale Temper. I had 10 sitting in the bank. What would you have done? Seeing as I am still stuck at 201, and no real incentive to get to 250, I sold them for the 20k profit.

Dalnir is still the best place for me to find blood. I usually just stay on the top floor. Gets me 1 or 2 a night if I stay there long enough.

Anybody know what level you can single pull the Necro's in the jail in Sebilis? I saw a 63 paladin doing it, but was wondering if it can be done at 61.

Also, don't rule out the iksar bandit lord for blood. He can be a bugger to make spawn, but he drops blood often, about 50%.

Has anyone tried the Mines of Nurga Iksar Slaves?! I seem to recall that they dropped the blood as well.

At level 59 I am getting pairs of the necromancers in the jail in sebilis when I pull. Blood drop rate is 1 or maybe 2 in a 2-4 hour camp. The silvery etched warhammer appears to drop a little more often than the blood.
