I have seen this sold in the bazaar, and I think its part of the 8th shawl, but I'm not sure how to make it. There is royal velium, and imbued velium but not engraved velium. Help!

The engraving step that makes them tradeable is listed on the jewel-crafting recipe page. Engraved is produced by combining etching tools and Imbued Royal Velium in a jeweller's kit. Jewelcraft trivials vary by piece, 178 and up.

Provided you have enough faction (and I dont know what "enough" is, mine is max ally), you can get the tools.Is it possible to get the engraving tool without doing the quest?Comment

Engraved Royal Velium Armor
in my experience on Fennin Ro...the market for this armor has collapsed, I can't even give it away. It is lovely stuff, but if everyone is going after better or twinking out their alts with hand me downs...the trade skiller has litle if any chance to sell.
IME all you do is make these nice items and stand for days straight in the bazaar trying to give it away at MAYBE a small gp profit.
it's getting so the trade skills are becoming useless again....they did go through a short time where they were needed and appreciated....not now though. .../sigh
