Cultural quest books.. am i right?

I can't quite figure out about cultural books.
I am a dorf smith.

There are quest books for Cultural armors and Symbols. I got that part ok.
Now to make Armors, it seems all you need is Dwarven ancestrial book to make molds for any kinds (intrigute to elegant, etc).

Other books you need to obtain by questing(killing 120 drakes and such) are to be able to make symbol patterns for symbols?
You can't make symbols without doing quest I gather...

Am i getting it correctly?

Armor
You need the appropriate raw skill to see the books on the merchants in PoK (in the alcoves beside the entrance to the library) to be able to purchase and scribe the books. Once scribed the armor recipes show up in your cultural forge recipe list (search for them).

You also have to do the cultural armor quest to get the Molds for Dwarven (armorpiece) to make any cultural armors. See your cultural quest NPC in Kaladim to get the easy collection quest to be able to make them. You can only make armor for the culture (race, i.e. Dwarf for you) you belong.


Augs
You need the approriate level raw skill to see the books on the merchants in PoK (in the alcoves beside the entrance to the library) to be able to purchase and scribe to learn how to make the augments.

In order to make the augments, you also need to complete the appropriate cultural quest for the level of (armor) symbol patterns for the aug level you want to make.
