Gnome Smithing

Please tell me, do Gnomes get to smith cultural armor? The AkAnon forge has been changed to a Clockwork forge and attempts to use the old recipes do not seem to work. Did they change the cultural armor for gnomes to tinkering and not smithing.

I'm pretty sure gnomes can still smith their cultural. I know my gnome was the first to try the new recipes and she sat at the forge with her toolbox open to compare the recipes and see which one was more cost effecient. Can't remember which one she decided to do, but I think it was smithing, since the toolbox only had tailoring recipes at the time.
