Someting not right.

As i have never gotten trophy on my DE chanter for smithing figured i would. Smithign is 189. did the test and last combine was for 169. I got the basic trophy 1%. WTF? Did this on my druid and got one evolved to skill, is this a change? if so that sucks.

You need to equip your new trophy, then head to a forge, insert the certificate you got and hit combine. Your trophy will then be the right level and %.

I.E. you need to follow the instructions given to you by the quest giver, who tells you to do that step.

Yep that worked thanks. jumped from 1% to 4%. at 189 seems low but at least can work on it.

Well, it should not have been 4% either, but there are a lot of factors that have not been discussed.

If it seems to be working as intended then we can let it go for now.

If you want to find out what should have happened provide the following:

What was your raw skill when you received the test?
What was your raw skill when you combined the ticket?
What level was the trophy after you did the combine (3/7?).
Have you successfuly combined non-trivial items within 100 skill points since using the ticket to evolve the trophy?


Note: I am assuming raw skill is below 250 still, if it were over 250 I would have asked only "... non-trivial items" as once raw skill reaches 250 any successful, non-trivial item will count towards the evolution of the trophy.

4% sounds right.

Trophies go 1, 2, 4, 5, 8, 12, 15% increments. This is the modifier %age not the % evolved. So 189 skill would be 3/7 which is a 4% modifier.

I thought Bedazzlerr meant it only jumped to 4% evolved in the current level when he combined the certificate (which did not make sense if his skill was up to 189). Which is also why I asked for specifics about skill level, trophy level, etc... Having specifics definitely helps prevent confusion.

Sorry on the confusion. it evolved from 15 to 4%. My raw skill is 189 and was so theru all of this. so I should see some skill ups then as i do more I would think.

You need to scroll down further in the items description space and you should see an evolution line.

Level X/7 and XX% evolved.

This is the percent evolved and should have been adjusted to your skill.

150 = level 3.

189-150=39 -> 78% evolved through level 3 is what it should be evolved. As you succeed at non-trivial combines within 100 points of your raw skill, the trophy will gain experience and evolve with you.

It can get ahead of you if you have a run of bad luck on skill ups and it will stop when it evolves to the level above your skill and similarly, if you skill up faster and reach the next level before the trophy, it will speed up (10 times faster) to catch up to you.
