imbued/enchanted dwarf cultural armor

I recently hit 188 in smithing so I have just started to make some enchanted dwarf armor for friends, guildies, and to sell. So far i'm 3/3 on breastplates and 1/1 on arms when i have my geerloc equiped. My question is though at what skill can i make some of the imbued and enchanted armor with a success rate of about 75 percent?

You should already be at or above a success rate of 75% with your current skill of 188. The old cultural works similar to FP in that you can reach the max success rate of 95% well before the item trivials.

I currently have a skill of 193, and after over 300 attempts at the elven enchanted/imbued(which is roughly the same trivial/success wise) I have about a 96% success rate so far. About half of those were done without a geerlock, meaning that at 188 with geerlock you would have a higher skill than that. I would therefore assume, that you should have around a 90% or higher success rate.

Unless of course, the gods have done something nice and I (and most I have talked too) have been extemely lucky.

really? I knew about the armor reaching 95 success rate faster, but I never though i could get a 90 percent on something listed as trivial over 250, such as the bp. Oh well, I guess i'll go make an imbued/enchanted dwarven bp to replace my barbed ringmail=)

If you are still talking about the old cultural(not the Infused Brellium with the BD's) I believe the listed trivials are still a little innacurate(it mentions that there are conflicting reports on the stuff).

Even if they are accurate, and the BP is trivial above 250, that would only put it about 10 points higher than the Enchanted/Imbued Koada'dal BP, which at a 193 skill I am 8 for 8 on.

Mind you, that is an EXTREMELY small statistical sample, I could have concievably done that even if my actual chances of success were as low as 5%. I however am assuming that like all the other peices of my old cultural I am currently somewhere around the maximum success rate. And would definately say that I am above a 75% success rate.

I would therefore suggest, that If you have people interested in the armor, to go ahead and attempt it, but try and get as many extra components as you can 'just in case'. I personally feel you will have a 75% or higher success rate on all the peices over time at your current skill.

If I completely misunderstood you, and you are talking about the BD cultural, I apologize. At your current skill you will have a 5% success rate over time on ANY of the peices, which will not increase until your effective skill(base skill + % modifier) is above 205ish. It will increase from there to somewhere between 35 and 55% overtime at max skill.

I believe at 189 my success rate was about 2 of 3 for imbued/enchanted dwarven breastplates. Its gone up slightly since Im around 200 now but my sample is small also.
I can confirm that you will have some successes at 189 though.

Well, I went ahead and did a few combines at 188 plus a geerlock which gives me a skill of about 197 I think. Well, my first session I did one enchanted/imbued bp and made it!Hurray! My second session I attempted one imbued/enchanted helm and one imbued/enchanted bracer and failed on both=( Then i attempted the helm again and made it!
So that puts me at 3/5 on imbued/enchanted and 4/4 on enchanted armor.
