  • I know this is going to be a stupid question, but ...

I just finished my first cultural quest, and made my first 3 pieces of Ornate Ravager armour (*cheer*). However, after completing the quest and making the set of molds, it became a bit apparently that there was not particularly unique about the mold names.

So now I have a backpack full of molds. What happens is I go and do another quest and get another bag of (higher level) molds. How do I tell them apart? Just remember where I put what? Or am I missing something obvious and it's actually easy to tell Ornate from Elaborate molds? And what do you do with alllllll those molds you have? Destroy some, just have them take up bank space, or try to make them all to get rid of them?

    Enquiring minds want to know>

Molds are not level based. The BP Mold for the Ornate BP is the same mold you use to make the Elegant BP.

It's the Symbols patterns that are level based, and the quests to get those patterns are level based.

So in other words, if I get the parts I need (and the skill required, obviously ), I will be able to make an Eloborate (or the next level up) BP with the quest I did for ornate? Interesting. Why would anyone do the 'tougher' quest then, if they can just get the lowest level one and get all the molds they need?

Thanks for the info by the way. I sorta thought that would be the answer, but it really didn't make sense to me.

The quest you did is for the armor molds, it sounds like. That is a really simple low-level quest.

The higher quests are for the symbols (where most of the stats are). They are level-based and are much harder.

All ARMOR uses the Ancestral Book of XXX Culture. This makes a pattern/mold for the race.

Symbols EACH have their own unique book. These books make separate patterns/molds for each different tier of symbols.

If you do all the tasks, you will have 7 books (1 armor, 6 symbols) in your bank that can be used to make patterns/symbols.
