Intricate Frostwarded

For some reason, I am getting the "cannot combine in this container type" when I try to make any Intricate Frostwarded gear. Anyone know why this is? I have tripled checked the items and cant find a reason why. And yes Im using Northman Hammer and Northman Forge. Thanks in advance for any help here

Sure you sure you got the right forge? (for that matter, the forge not the oven) That forge is on the east side of Halas, almost right across from the npc that sells cultural stuff. With default UI, you should see the name of the forge in the tradeskill UI.

Ya I have the right forge. I was thinking maybe there was a recipe change but evidently not. Ill try it again to see what happens.

On Test, and was having the same problem today trying to make an Intricate Frostwarded Armband.

Checked the forge, double checked my components, made sure I was using a Northman hammer. No joy.

I may be missing something really obvious but, if so, I am glad I am not the only one doing it.

The best way to get help on a DNC recipe is to post a list of exactly all of the parts you are putting in the forge. If you are using a recipe from the saved list and it is not combining then I that is something different and you should /bug that in game.

I am sitting at the Northman forge right now.

Trying to combine:

Mold for Barbarian Wristguards
Malleable Northman Ore
Rhenium Chain Bracer Template
Northman Smithy Hammer
Bonded Loam
Black Nitrous Coal
Water Flask

Attempting to make an Intricate Frostwarded Armband.

Getting a 'You can not combine these items in this container type' error.

I am having same problem, I am at correct forge, and have all correct ingredients, i get the same message, anyone have any ideas?


Having same trouble with intricate snowborn, cannot get any of the combines to work.

Change the Malleable Northman Ore in the recipe to " Fair Northman Ore ". Combines NP.

Nice, since it's cheaper than Malleable.

Recipes on the site may want changing as they currently show malleable in the combine.

That's very strange, as the Malleable Northman Ore should be used in this recipe. This is likely a bug and should be reported to the developers. Ngreth will probably read this thread, but an in-game bug report will be helpful as well.

I have fixed the data for this but it will need a full patch in order to come into effect.

Yes, I substituted with the fair northman ore and was able to make the combine. This will suffice till patch.
