  • Indium farming spots

I've tried a few different zone (HoH, CoD, PoD, GE), HoH been great for Rhenium but rather lacking for Indium, CoD and PoD just been horrible and GE having a fair drop rate and been really easy to farm (getting Windstone while farming something else is also a plus).

I was wondering if there was any better zone to farm then GE. One with more golem / construct type. GE mobs are all humanoid. The Hole is too low level, i was going to try Akheva Ruin (The Va'Dyn area) but the server went down for the 2nd emergency patch.

    Any feedback would be appreciated.

    - Edit -

Golems in AR doesn't seem to drop any.

I hit up the juggs in sebilis. The drop rate was pretty good, but with the LONG trip running over there, it is not a very fun spot get to. Not that they're hard, but the fact that they summon and enrage make them annoying.

I'm looking for other spots as well. I keep finding humanoid mobs where I expect them to be golems.

      Indium Sources

I find the following areas to be the best spots for Indium level smithing combines:

Juggernauts in Sebilis (long to get to, limited # of Juggs, but drops are more smithing focused)

Temple in Cazic Thule (The temple to the left when you zone in is full of mobs that drop the 234-250 level TS drops. You will get all types though, but you will also get the blood which is good for 295 smithing level. Deeper in CT like 4C and the drops go to the next level as the mobs are a tad bit higher level.)

Gnolls in the Steppes (the SW quadrant is the lowest level gnolls and drop 234-250 TS drops. They also drop Steppes Ore which is good until 262 smithing.)

So I recommend CT or the Steppes as you get higher level combine drops at the same time.

Had a lot of this stuff dropping in Dragon Necropolis while working in the sacred symbols quest from the Chetaris in the underground tunnels. Again, you get all drop types, but a saw quite a bit of Indium Ore.

I found Indium ores in Hate's Fury, they drop quite commonly of the trolls but there are a lot of luggald/undead mobs there as well that won't drop any tradeskill components so it's not a great farming spot either =(

Yeah, I've noticed that the juggs have been far more stingy with their ore drops lately. I'll try DN later.

So far, I've found that CT is the best place for Indium... They hit a little harder than GE but I've seemed to get a better Indium drop rate in CT

I have been farming the Tae Ew bloods in CT and the Indium seems to be dropping from the lizards at a decent pace. However, I am pulling 20 of them at a time so your mileage may vary.

                    .

Really common in CT along with pristine silk/pelts
