No elaborate plate grrrrr

    No elaborate plate grrrrr

    Ok here is the thing.....
    I play an ogre SK...master smith 300 with new TS trophy at 15% giving me a skill of 345.
    I have made plenty of GM armour before the new TS recipes came out.
    I have bought ALL the things you need to scribe to know the recipes for every tier.
    I go to my cultural forge in ogreville and I can see all recipes from every tier EXCEPT Elaborate PLATE armour.
    WTF???
    I type in elaborate..and all I can see is Chain crap.
    I type in warbound(ogre plate gear name) and I can see every recipe except that of Elaborate.

    Is there a bug or something???
    I have even bough all the scribed books thrice.
    Any other ogre smiths out there having the same problem?

    There's probably too many recipes in your search. Try typing in Elaborate Warbound to get what you want.

      Trust me I have.
      When I type in JUST elaborate..ALL i get are 7 armour slots for chain.
      Having only 7 lines of recipes can not be full.
      When I type in Warbound...I get 21 lines of recipes. The first three tiers of armour show..but no GM.

        OK, then that does sound like a bug. Please /bug that in game with all the details you have so they can deal with it.

          Elaborate Ogre Plate

          Also having the same issue here.

          Ran last week to get the cultural book, scribed it. Realized later that I had scibed just the cultural armor book, not the symbols, etc., so - to be safe - went back and bought all the books and scribed them (rescribed, in the case of the elaborate armor)

          Head over to the forge this AM to make my first cultural since the patch. Make the cobalt templates. Type in "Elaborate " in the tradeskill interface, and all the Elaborate Tyrant (Chain) recipes) show up - but none of the Elaborate Warborne (Plate) recipes. So I have chain recipes but not plate

          I figure out the Elaborate Warborne BP (plate) recipe, make the item, and learn the recipe. Same for a few other pieces. But I still don't have a recipe learned for the the plate pieces that I didn't make, just the elaborate chain from scribing the book (all the pieces) and the three elaborate plate pieces that I did make.

            I'm not seeing the elaborate armor in my cultural forge either.I've bought and scribed all the books and my skill is 300:-(

              Bah Humbug.

              It seems there are some troll recipes in there instead of the warborn. Ooops.

              Unfortunately there is nothing I can do to make this fast, I have to wait for a full patch

                Cool, at least it is known now.
                And I am glad I made my full set with symbols well in advance.

                  hmm

                  I am a human smith at skill 282, I cannot see ANY of the tungsten recipes in the forge, but I can see the recipes involving cobalt. A guildie who is ogre 300 smith can see tungsten which one piece trivial at 303. Shouldn't I be able to see template recipe at 278, and yes I have scribed the books. I tried the default ui, nada. Had to expirement.

                    well... that can't be the book if someone else is seeing it.

                    What specifically are you using as your search term? You may need to narrow it.

                      I search for tungsten. And nothing appears. I have rescribed the smithing books... nothing. I expiremented and learned the recipe. Maybe I missed a book, but I doubt it. He also claims (My ogre friend) that he cannot see some tailored recipes , had to expirement to find those.

                        Finally experimented and learned Elaborate moonglade plate.But this was the only way i could get it to show in my UI:-(

                          i'm a ogre smith and i can't find anything with cobalt/tungsten in the search (narrowed down of course) or elaborate. only thing that shows up are things i've manually combined.

                            I was able to see Tungsten and Cobalt recipes no problem.

                            What was confusing to me is that there is one vendor that sells the books for cultural and also books for the charms. *Another* vendor in PoK sells the armor books, and it is one level for Tungsten and another for Cobalt (level X and XI? At work, can't check). So it's like 5 books to buy to be able to make elaborate armor, eminent symbols, Tungsten patterns (for skill-ups) and Cobalt (for the actual armor). First time just got the armor and symbol books, and had to run back to be able to get more books for the tungsten/cobalt recipes. So you may need to get the armor books off the other vendor.
