Smith Ceramic Clay: seriously nerfed as skill-up path?

I've just combined/created 57 Smith Ceramic Clays and received zero skill-ups. Does this item have a skill-up penalty?

I'd think it's just bad luck. It's not uncommon to have dry stretches as you skill up. Just keep trying, and you'll get over the hump pretty quick (we hope!).

Oh, and be sure to make an appropriate sacrifice to Bristlebane, to make him look away, and to your own diety, if different, to make him or her smile on you. A few bottles of ale usually does the trick, either way.

Is this item make smith skill go up at all?
anyone experienced skill up if so pls post.

only 57... lol. Hardly a large enough sample to decide that it's broken. Search around the boards for people with 2-300 runs without a skill up... it happens.

I got several skillups from the smith ceramic clay. It is mainly a pain because it consumes the files and they do not stack so it takes up a good bit of bag space to do a combine run with them.

They do give skill ups just as any other 262 trivial combine would.
