  • where oh where are my recipes?

I am a lowly 235 smith. I bought all the books that vendor allowed me to seeintricate and lower) I clicked them. I read them. I clicked [scribe] on them. I went to tannan forge in pok. Searched bracer and other pieces. No template recipes showed. Searched template...no recipes showed. Searched Iridium...no recipes. The searches went on to no avail. Tried cultural forge and did the same. Again no recipes. Shook my fist at the forge....still no recipes. Is there something I am not doing to see the recipes?

I know there's 2 vendors by the library. One has books, the other has scrolls. I bought all from both and scribed them. When i type in template at the forge in felwithe all the template recipes come up. Other than that I don't know.

      Well...

After continued reading other threads (/bonk) I found where I must visit the armor historian in addition to the smith historian lol. After buying and scribing the 30 scrolls :>P ok...not THAT many, now see the recipes. Hope you all got a small chuckle at my expense tonight :>P

Yeah sorry. Though it does not LOK like the NPC is holding many books... they are all (except the tinkerer) holding nearly 80 books... and 80 is the limit, so I had to split it up on different NPC's and that is the split that made the most sense to me.

I scribed the books, chatted with the Quest giver in Oggok and went to the ogre cultural forge. A search for Elaborate pulls up Tyrant but not Warborn armor sets. Is there a step I missed?

So just to reitterate what has been said above, to get my Snowborn(barb) recipies I need to buy all of the books from both the armour vendor and smith vendor? Just wanted to double check before buying more books, bought the top book I could buy and the cultural armour book and scribed them but no recipies.

              More or less, Anterouk.

Many of the template books (the step XXX ones) will teach you how to make patterns that are only useful for skillups. In addition, the books are skill-restricted; you can only see the top books if your unmodified skill is high enough.

The books needed to make armor are Step 4, Step 6, Step 9, and Step 11 for the templates, and the Simple, Ornate, Intricate, and Elaborate books off the armor books vendor.

This may be a result of too many recipes to show. You may have to narrow it down by typing "Elaborate Warborn" in your search.
