Windstone drop location/descrepancy

I have received Essances of wind and Windstones (more essances of wind than stones.. but what can I do) from everyone of the mentioned MOBs there except the Elysians, I've never fought thoes.

Dunno Drop rates and such I just clear the Grimling caverns because I'm perpetually broke.

Hunting in the Grimling cave closest to Katta in TM last night for 2 hours yeilded 2 windstones and when I talied up hours spent there compared to the number of windstones I would say it is an average of one per hour.

Might be better to tally up from clearings of both mines rather than "per hour". My per hour is alot better than a 41 palladins per hour, and I'm sure there are alot of you out there that can do better than a 58 druid. My experience has been about 1 windstone dropping per 5 clearings of the mine closest to Katta. Honestly, I've had my best luck dumpster diving in Katta. There are more than enough people who sell windstones to merchants in Katta instead of saving them for smiths (or the Bazaar). Umm...ignore that please, don't farm Katta, I need the stones ops:
