Portable forge

Hello,

about two years ago a fellow smith linked me a portable forge. I was told one can only get this item by a gm event. Does anyone who frequents this site have one of these? I was just wondering how hard to aquire and how much I should offer If I ever get a chance to buy one.

Just did a search sorry should have did that first. Looks like I should have tried to buy it when I had the chance all those years ago if It was even tradeable, I can't remember.

Actually, beacause of how EQ recipes seem to work -- according to Ngreth, every tradeskill container needs to have the recipes associated with them, or vice versa -- it would be extremely unlikely that it would be of much use nowadays, even if it did work for some old basic combines....

as it is... I *expect* that that is a quest container, not an actual forge. But I am already about 2 days behind at work... so I don't have time to look it up.

If it was a Mystical Furnace of Ro, then it is for PoP quest combines only.

I wish now I took a screen shot of it. I do remember being in the bazaar when I got the link and so was the other guy. Dam I feel certain too that it said portable or something like that.

Also I did not know that tradeskill containers obsolete themselves like that with recipes. Although that makes a lot of sense when you think of all the different containers one goes through over the years even for one tradeskill.

There was some funny bug a while ago, you could somehow pick up all the world containers

There was also a time on beta where they were on merchants... that went away quick though because even beta players felt the need to grief

Possible you may be confusing the Aide Grimel Quest item called a Portable Drink Barrel?

There is also a "Portable Fuel Burner" that looks like a forge (grpahic) but isnt a container.
