Enchanted Velium Bits

I'm going to work smithing to 200.. and for the 180-200ish I was thinking about making Enchanted Velium Bits, so I checked what I would need to do it..
Smithing Components: Coldain Velium Temper, Small Piece of Velium(2), Spell: Enchant Velium
But, so I really need to combine a spell in the forge? If not, what is it that I do?

Yup, oddly enough, you have to put the actual spell scroll in the forge.

that's so weird, I guess it beats putting a piece of enchanted velium in there though

also be aware, unless it has been changed recently, this is one of the few 'quest' type recipes that are flagged to be "un-learnable" in the big TS window, so you will have to manually drag and combine in the forge the oldskool way if you do this route.

Does the spell get used up or can one copy get used multiple times?

spell scroll is used up in the combine.

Does the spell get used up or can one copy get used multiple times?

The power of the spell is transferred into the melted brick. (i.e. one spell per combine) Think of it this way: Spells now stack to 20. Takes up a lot more space than years past when the spells didn't stack.
