Plug in your info, and it will tell you the total cost.
Sir KyrosKrane Sylvanblade
Master Artisan (300 + GM Trophy in all) of Luclin (Veeshan)
Master Fisherman (200) and possibly Drunk (2xx + 20%), not sober enough to tell!
Lightbringer, Redeemer, and Valiant servant of Erollisi Marr
The selling part is a bit tricky. The market is usually flooded with them, and you end up selling them below cost to people who use them for tribute.
So while you can get some money back, it's often just better to tribute them yourself. I filled up 4 characters and my guild tribute skilling up to 300.

My wife ended up with around 300 of them (filling up some of my alts). I've been selling them for a few months at 333p each...which, after failures, is just a bit over her cost. They sell slowly (sometimes, I go several days with no sales...sometimes, I sell several to a single person.) I'm down to about 50 left.
So, really...it just depends on how patient you are. If you NEED the money, you'll probably have to sell below cost (some people sell them for around 150p)...but if you can wait, you can probably recoup your money slowly.
Thanks everyone, was just the info I was looking for
I'm patient, and have more than enough money to get my last 38 points, currently at 262 smithing, all other skills are 300
A guildmate sells Sickles fairly commonly at 300p a piece, so I suppose this is probably the best skillup path, just have to store all the sickles on a couple alts lol

After a 2 year hiatus on tradeskills, I finally got the urge to top them all off, went surprisingly really fast.. tailoring was really easy doing Racnor's in VP for masters armor
Steppes Ore was a good skillup path for 222 to 262 smithing for me, it was relatively cheap too, guildmates helped a lot for those farming for quest items too
