      Well, he's honest...

Especially compared to the other stuff we've seen so far from CT Smithing.

Eloquence isn't needed. Those stats speak volumes of sucking on their own.

Verant is spaztic when it comes to chain class gloves. A level 60 player can solo a mob to get 20 ac +10 str gloves, but you need a uber group to raid the death-trap that is CT and all you get are these 15ac pieces of junk.

****, after the tunic, I had such high hopes. Instead we get anotehr pos. Are devs aware of shissar scaled gloves/cc gaunts? Jesus, will we ever see anything to rival an 800pp bazaar purchase?! Dont tell me your so and so would wear them, because I will call you a loser for not having better by 51.

Considering that these hunks of ass require the same amount of blood as a tunic, what do ya think you will NEVER see made again?

Grats on saving the rest of us from making them I guess, sorry you wasted your bloods.

                Yipes

Comparing those to the Kylong Guantlets I have to wonder what expansion the fellow who made those thought we were in.
Congratulations on the combine though, and thanks for blazing the trail.

I feel its fair to evaluate new items, and warn others not to waste their efforts. If all we did was post stats and recipes, then those unaware of how bad these actually are may make them. As such, our rants are constructive!

{cough} Calling things "hunks of ass" and other such stuff is NOT constructive/appropriate or welcome in these forums.

PLEASE watch the swearing and the language, m'kay? We DO insist on keeping things family-friendly around there, and it truly doesn't take that long to self-censor your posts to not include swear words, and they are truly not necessary around here.

Dislike the rules for these forums all you like, but they ARE the rules, and we DO actually insist that folks follow them if they want to be heard here. When a mod comes in and asks folks to settle down, they're doing so under standing orders from the site owner (me), and you might want to step back and rethink your tone. We've had FAR too many problems with things turning flammable in the smithing forums in the last year or so, and while many of them start out innocently enough, they rapidly turn into flame-fests, VI-bashing, etc.

Trust me, if this is the sort of feedback folks are sending in letters to VI, nobody should be surprised when it ends up in the circular file. Long experience has taught us that logic laced with at least an attempt at polite manners are far more likely to get the point across to the dev team than name-calling and swearing.
