I've leveled up to 222 on enchanted velium bits, and I figured I'd jump onto mistletoe cutting sickles, but at a little over 300pp a pop.. it adds up. So, my question is, is there something I can make after 222 before I start making the sickles?
I wouldn't say cultural is an option, as, though I've never farmed them, I have heard that the great reptile tooth are a joke.
    Thanks,
    Rarrazz

Shadowscream armor, if you're willing to spend the time farming. Otherwise MCS is the cheapest option; even with a yttrium race you're looking at 700-1k per brick (at least on Bert)

There's always magnetic. The market is staturated now but still you can move enough to make your money back or a very slim profit. I use a buyer whenever I need a bunch. I try to price it so I am paying about 300 a brick 400 at the most if there is compatition in barter. Then I just wait and check bazaar once in a while make sure I'm not missing any deals. Once I've built up for abit. Then I go throw a batch together Ive gotton probably 30 to 40 skill ups off magnetic and bazu. Plus helped gear a few buddys alts for very cheap. At first I used this as just a side line path for skill ups but eventually since it wasn't very time comsuming It became my main smithing route to 282.

shadowscream is easy and VERY cheap, just time consuming. you'll need about 1000 swirling shadows, 500 wailing substances and 500 shrieking substances... and probably just to get 25-35 skill ups, lol.

so far i have done about 110 combines, and gone from 222 to 230.

This is an idea that I figured I would follow for a while. Just something on the side as extra skillups mainly, though. Hmm, and on the bazu, I'll have to look and see all what that takes, and probably make some of that on the side. If I'm having any problems with groups I normally just sit around in wos/mpg duo'ing, so get some magnetic when in mpg. Thanks for the reminder about this

The thing about this, is that I need to find something that I can farm faster than I can farm money for making MCS. Right now, I can't find something to do that. How many shadowscream combines can I get in about an hour?

Don't worry you are not missing too much, that trip up and down the elevator gets to be a royal pain. I did two full stacks of acids (40 combines), to get one skill up and very bored (with the run). I stopped doing it.
