Field Plate ???? ore change

Greetings everyone!

I recently have started to make field plate for skill ups and was suprised that the ore requirement changed from way back when i first started making the stuff. when i skilled up on field plate before the armour required medium quility folded sheets which run about 20pp each to make. so purchased all the supplies got everything i needed an got the messes does not combine in this forge.

I checked i was using correct forge and mats and tried again hmm. well i came here and looked up recipie. Field plate now requires HQ folded sheets. at a cost of 80pp per sheet attempt this is no longer a viable option to skill up.

Fine plate requires MQ sheets. I've made field plate for a long time and it has used HQ ore since I've started.

Im skill 189 currently, maybe its the highcost of the blocks of high quality ore that is throwing me off. I could have sworn that field plate use to use lower costing ore.

That's probably the source of your confusion. Until the launch of DoN, HQ ore used to cost about 1/3 what it does now. When the DoN cultural armors were introduced, humans and one or two other races were assigned HQ ore as their metal. To keep pricing fair, the cost to buy HQ ore was raised to match the other races' metals.
