Swirling Shadows - SS

I normally hunt Swirling Shadows in Twilight from the greater and lesser shadows on the island but was wondering if there are differnet mobs that drop maybe more. On the island you can get 1-2 drop at a time but being a level 65 warrior and also my alt is a level 64 cleric that is with me I find it takes me 5 mins to wipe the island out.

On my way to UP yesterday I got attacked by a Vi xanus (something like that, conned light blue) which I killed and it dropped a swirling shadow so that got me wondering if there are other higher level mobs that drop swirling shadow in multiples of 3-4 ??

Is the Twilight Sea island the place ??

Any help would be much appreciated.

I would love to know as well, it takes me about 20 mins to clear the island with a 60 war and cleric (but I do suck hehe).

The shades in ShadeWeavers, which I don't think have a comparable drop rate, also drop them.... Thats all I know, would love any extra info as well...

Pretty sure robes in Maiden and Akheva drops it too... Lesser shades in Shadeweaver drop it too, I found it to be a little more common than Twilight but much more annoying since the spawn area is much larger.

When I've been hunting in ME I've seen a few drop ... we were mostly hunting the undead (the skeletons, vampire bats, and vamps), but occasionally pulled from farther away. Judging by the number we got (single digits) I'm guessing it was from the 'farther pulls'. Not much help, but they DO drop from something in ME.

Yes, basically anything in a robe can drop the swirling shadows in ME. The drop rate isn't all that great, but if you have a group looking for exp/drops then its a nice bonus. As long as you aren't too tired to smith it up when you're done.
