Farm yttrium until I'm blue in the face or farm sellables to make sickles to finish from 251 to 300?

I suppose it is a question of how fast you can farm. Yttrium vs PP per hour. Consider how much yttrium sells for on your server. On mine (Bertox) they sell for 750-2k per brick. If you have a character that can imbue the emeralds for the Sickles yourself, you are looking at ~330 pp per combine if I remember right. The sickles do include alot of sub-combines.. so it depends on how much you value your time as well. Additionally, yttrium takes you to 290 on one brick, then it takes three from there, so the price goes up alot.
Conversly, the Masters armor has about double the chance to skill up, sooo... it would be 2 sickles to 1 brick (to 290).. 660 vs 750 (if you're patient, or farming) on my server. Throw in the subcombines, and I could see that being a wash, it depends on your funds and your time. Additionally, the resale value on Sickles is usually 200-275, so you're looking at around a 100p loss per combine, whereas the resale on Master armor done en mass is pretty much nothing.
My master's armor required Pile of Gravel, so it was pretty much non-existant for me. I did do 282-295 so far on masters armor with my tinker... at the moment I'd kill for a tinker version of the sickle..
Basically it depends on what the prices are on your server (how much you could get to sell 1 brick, or 1 sickle), how much you value your time (subcombines), how well you could farm PP vs Yttrium, and if you want EXP while you farm (if you can't get decent exp farming PP)

I say go farm yttrium. Get Hail of Arrows and you can kill five or more thought horrors at a time. Maybe get the Cloak of the Spirit Tracker and equip it while farming, you'll max it out in no time.Comment

do both, farm the yittrum and make the masters level ****, make random peices that trival above your skill level and just ooc/aug them out in pok/zar for like 500 a peice or somthing low like that, chances are that youll get at least one person to bite. Also know the differance between masters and grandmasters, and beable to explane it, simply to other people, then tell them how much plat they would save for there mains/twinks.with the earned money either bank it for later days or sickletize that money. and try to sell them for some stupidly undercut price. i find 500pp per masters stuff depending on race/class, and 100-300 pp per sickle, based on curent zar price, is reasonable to ask. also when selling the sickles, stress that there 1312 tribute, and even state how much tribute there getting per plat (4-13 per plat is REALY nice)Comment
