Shissar blood gone missing?

I'm concerned that the regular "shissar blood" isn't dropping any longer since the patch which revamped alchemy. All I can seem to find now is "hearty shissar blood" and "exceptional shissar blood". If anyone finds a "shissar blood" in their travels, please reply to confirm that it still drops and where it drops. Otherwise we might need Ngreth's help.

(Shissar blood is used to make the quicksilver temper for Yttrium weapons. The other two bloods did not combine.)

Regular shissar blood still drops but usually off named mobs like Taskmasters, Commanders, and raid mobs.

I remembered the blood being more common before the revamp though.

Allakhazam has the following mobs listed as droppers.

spend an evening there last week, had one blood (exeptional) drop in about 4 hours and killed a few named. So is very very rare now

Probably just bad RNG luck. I spent three hours there (Ssra Temple) messing around. We got 7 (regular) Shissar Blood, 2 Hearty Shissar Blood and 1 Exceptional Shissar Blood.

Shissar blood still drops regularly off the shissars on the third floors. Rarely off any of the other shissars in zone.

Thanks, Devilcharm. That's where I guess I'll have to look. I spent most of my time combing the basement, first floor, & second floor. So that would explain why I didn't find any.

Elites, Comm's and some named drops them but not usually on first or second floor. Try the 7 taskmasters in basement 5 of them are easy soloable by most high level toon, 2 are rather hard including warder. I do usualy find blood off them.

Failing that, rhag1 is one groupable (maybe duoable with really good tank and healer combo) and rhag2 is probably 1 groupable. Other raid mobs will need more dps to handle. rhag1 does not need any key but rhag2 will need a key that is a rare drop off comm's. Thankfully SOE added those 2 keys to the /key now so no more lost or forgotten key =)

Hehe. My pleasure Spent a good solid month in that zone getting enough scales to get 2 different races to 300 tailoring. Still have nightmares about that zone But yeah, on third floor 1 or 2 regular bloods drop off one mob about every 5-15 kills depending on your luck.

Now it is off to The Deep to get 3 races enough yttrium ore to get two to 300 smithing, and 1 to 300 tinkering >.< Glad the drop rate is slightly righer on the ore then the scales. Lol

First nightmares about shissars, now I'll be having nightmares about thought horrors. What is this game doing to me
